Gaggia Milano, an Evoca brand, is the latest big name to sign up as a headline sponsor at European Coffee, Tea & Soft Drinks Expo, the only hospitality industry show 100% devoted to the profitable service and sales of coffee, tea and soft beverages.   The iconic brand will be the Coffee Machine sponsor of the Barista Masterclasses.

Following the successful launch of the Barista Masterclasses at the 2019 event, this innovative feature will see world-class Baristas take to the stage to entertain, educate and wow visitors who will be treated to the opportunity of seeing the stars of the industry, all at the top of their game, demonstrate the skill, technique and creative flair that have established them at the top of their profession.

Hervé Donneaud, Evoca UK Managing Director, said’ “With the Gaggia Milano iconic brand, we are delighted to offer traditional and fully automatic coffee machines that enable each and every coffee lover to enhance their everyday lives. Today, at Evoca Group – where our brands include Gaggia Milano, Necta and Quality Espresso, among others – we are proud to build on over 80 years of Gaggia heritage by sponsoring the Barista Masterclasses at European Coffee, Tea & Soft Drinks Expo. The Masterclasses are the perfect opportunity for world-class baristas to highlight best practice in the world of coffee, by using our most stylish, high-performance traditional-style coffee machine, La Reale, to showcase and share their professional skills. With La Reale our aim is to ensure that professional baristas are empowered to bring the highest quality coffee to UK consumers who are looking for an outstanding coffee experience.”

Donneaud continued, “We are certain that visitors attending the Masterclasses will leave equipped with many additional skills and the enhanced knowledge that will inspire them to capitalise on the booming out of home coffee sector. The distinctive Italian design of La Reale, its exceptional build quality and its premium features create the perfect backdrop for all the inspirational Masterclasses taking place during the exhibition.”

The Barista Masterclasses will not only provide visitors with a refresh on the fundamentals but also keep them up to date with the latest trends, educating and inspiring the coffee business community about the importance of not only being able to make great coffee but also serving it in the most conducive way to the discerning customer of today.

John Bednall, CEO, European Coffee, Tea & Soft Drinks Expo said, “Gaggia’s lever machine marked the birth of the contemporary espresso and is one of the most recognisable and prestigious names in the coffee industry.  It will be a fantastic addition to the programme.  The Barista Masterclasses generated a huge amount of excitement at the show in May and the feedback from our visitors was outstanding.   We’re looking forward to welcoming a new group of top Baristas to the 2020 event and providing a platform for them to showcase their skills.”
